On mobile platforms, some games can be additionally promoted in the user News Feed and attract a new audience. They are shown without the “Advertisement” signature.

To launch such a promotion, you need to pay special attention to the visual component of the banner image. Based on our experience, conversion can double just by using a good image.

Game banner requirements:

  • size 1280 x 720;
  • the image should be clear, not blurred;
  • the image must contain the game’s title and/or logo.

  • Indents should NOT be less than 40 px from all edges. This is a mobile layout requirement.
  • This rule applies to logos and titles.
  • Any of the size values may be larger if necessary, but it is NOT recommended to use less.

  1. This tool mainly works to attract a new audience that may not have played at all before. It is very important that from the illustration it is immediately clear what the game is about and who it is aimed at.
  2. Make banner images with the target audience in mind: gender and age of your audience have a direct impact on images. Tanks for boys and cakes for girls.
  3. We recommend that you test different images, for example:
    • various illustrations, with different accents on the images;
    • placement of objects;
    • inscriptions and calls to action;
    • color palette.
  4. Creatives burn out over time and need to be updated.
  5. Use the creative to inform about campaigns or new levels in the game. A vibrant inscription about the start of a campaign or sale will attract additional attention.
